The Headington Institute Foundation (HIF) is a charitable private foundation whose mission is to support nonprofits that promote the emotional and physical wellbeing of international aid workers, domestic emergency responders, and community caregivers.
Our Goals
- Enhance mental and physical wellbeing for Humanitarian Aid Workers, Emergency Responders, Community Caregivers, and their families.
- Strengthen Organization Culture of Care.
- Advance Human Resilience Research and Knowledge.
Headington Institute Foundation is looking to support US based nonprofits that share our foundational goals and values. We will prioritize those that:
- Focus on measurable project outcomes, capacity building, or research.
- Demonstrate community-based leadership.
- Show potential for scalable and sustainable impact.
- Foster collaboration among organizations and sectors.

Submission of this form does NOT constitute a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Selected organizations may be invited to submit an LOI during an upcoming grant cycle. If you are invited, you will receive an email from us at the beginning of the next grant cycle.
